1. About these terms

These terms apply when you use the Octadots website and its enquiry form (the "Website"). The Website is run by Pragma Consultancy and Solutions ("PRAGMACS", "we", "us"), of 7/1#B, Kumarpara, Sylhet 3100, Bangladesh.

By using the Website you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use it.

2. What the Website is

The Website gives general information about Octadots and lets you send us an enquiry. The information is for general guidance. It is not advice, and it is not an offer to you. Nothing on the Website forms a contract.

3. Sending an enquiry does not make you a client

When you send an enquiry, we may reply, discuss your needs and suggest a next step. That does not create a client relationship or any duty on either side to work together.

Paid work is governed only by a separate written agreement or statement of work signed by both parties. If anything on the Website conflicts with that agreement, the agreement wins.

4. Work we do not take on

We do not take on work that involves:

  • healthcare or patient data
  • defence or government work
  • handling card numbers, bank logins or other payment credentials

Please do not send us this kind of information through the form.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Website unlawfully, or to harm or deceive anyone
  • send spam, malware or content that is abusive, false or infringes someone else's rights
  • use scripts, bots or other automated means to submit the form or to load the Website in a way that places unreasonable load on it
  • try to gain unauthorised access to the Website, our systems or other people's data
  • probe, scan or test the security of the Website without our written permission
  • pretend to be someone else when you send an enquiry

We may block access or ignore enquiries that break these rules.

6. Intellectual property

The Website's text, design, graphics, code and other content belong to PRAGMACS or its licensors. The Octadots name and marks belong to PRAGMACS. You may view the Website and share links to it. You may not copy, adapt or reuse its content or marks for other purposes without our written permission.

If you send us a message, you keep your rights in it. You allow us to use it to reply to you and to assess your enquiry.

7. No warranties

The Website and its content are provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that the Website will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted or free of errors, or that it is suited to your needs.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, PRAGMACS is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, data or business, arising from your use of the Website or from relying on its content.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have as a consumer where the law does not allow them to be waived.

The Website may link to other sites, such as our parent site at https://www.pragmacs.com. We do not control other sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.

10. Changes

We may change the Website and these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. By continuing to use the Website after a change, you accept the updated terms. Changes do not affect any signed agreement for paid work.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms, and any dispute about the Website, are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. The courts of Sylhet have jurisdiction over any such dispute.

If you use the Website as a consumer, you keep the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live, and you may also bring a claim in the courts there, where the law gives you that right.

Disputes about paid work are governed by the agreement we sign for that work.
