1. Who we are
This website is run by Pragma Consultancy and Solutions ("PRAGMACS", "we", "us"). Octadots is a service of PRAGMACS.

We are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. That means we decide why and how it is used.
2. What this policy covers
This policy covers the Octadots website and its enquiry form. It does not cover other websites that we link to, or the data we handle once you become a client. Client work is covered by the written agreement we sign with you.
3. What we collect
Through the enquiry form. When you send an enquiry we receive:
- your name
- your work email address
- your company name
- the area you want to automate
- the tools you use (optional)
- your message
- your confirmation that you agree to this policy
Please do not put passwords, patient information, card numbers or other sensitive data in the message. We do not need them to reply, and we do not take on work that involves them (see our Terms of Service).
Automatically. Like most websites, the server and hosting systems keep ordinary logs. These can include your IP address, your browser and device type, the pages requested and the time of each request.
The form also has a hidden field that people never see. Bots tend to fill it in. If it is filled, the submission is treated as spam and nothing is sent.
Cookies and similar technologies. As built today, this website does not set cookies. It does not store information in your browser (no localStorage or sessionStorage). It does not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools. It does not embed content from other sites and does not load third-party scripts, except the Cloudflare Turnstile bot check on the contact form if we turn it on.
If that changes, we will update this policy before or when the change goes live.
4. Why we use your data, and our legal basis

We use your details only for these purposes. We do not use them for marketing emails unless you have separately asked for them.
5. What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not share your personal data for cross-context behavioural advertising.
- We do not build advertising profiles of visitors.
- We do not use your enquiry to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
6. Who we share data with
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the website and handle your enquiry. They act on our instructions. Today the categories are:
- a hosting provider, which serves the website and keeps server logs
- Resend, an email delivery service, which delivers your enquiry to our inbox by email
- Cloudflare Turnstile, if the bot check is turned on. It checks that the visitor is a person, and it may process technical data such as your IP address

We may also disclose data if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others. If PRAGMACS is ever sold or reorganised, the data may move to the new owner under the same protections.
7. International transfers
We are based in Bangladesh. If you visit from the United States, the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area or elsewhere, your data is sent to us in Bangladesh. Our service providers may also process data in other countries.
Data protection law in your country may differ from the law in Bangladesh. You choose to send us an enquiry, and we rely on that and on your consent for the transfer. We limit what we collect, we restrict access to those who need it, and we expect our providers to protect the data.

8. How long we keep data
- Enquiries: we keep them for up to 24 months. If no engagement follows, we then delete them. If we start work together, we keep the information needed for the engagement and for our legal and accounting duties, for as long as those require.
- Server logs: we keep them for up to 90 days, unless we need them longer to investigate a security issue.
You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner (see section 9).
9. Your rights
If you are in the EU or the UK, you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you (access)
- have inaccurate data corrected
- have your data deleted
- object to our use of your data that is based on legitimate interests
- ask for your data in a portable format
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what we did before you withdrew it
- complain to your data protection authority. In the UK this is the Information Commissioner's Office. In the EU it is the authority in your country.
If you are in California, you have the right to:
- know what personal information we collect, use and disclose
- request that we delete it
- request that we correct it
- not be sold to or shared for advertising: we do neither
- not be treated differently for using these rights
How to use your rights. Email info@pragmacs.com from the address you used on the form, and tell us what you want. We may ask you to confirm your identity first. We will answer within the time the law requires. You may also use an authorised agent in California. We will ask for proof that they act for you.
10. Children
This website is for businesses. It is not directed at anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, email info@pragmacs.com and we will delete it.
11. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect the data we hold, including limiting access to people who need it and relying on providers that protect their systems. No website or method of transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your data, we will act as the law requires, including telling you and the authorities where required.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. If we make a material change, we will say so on this page. Where the law requires it, we will ask for your consent again.
